As an affordable wedding photographer, capturing love stories is our calling. This spring engagement session at Coon Bluff along the Salt River in Tonto National Forest was a delightful experience. The weather was absolutely perfect, with the sun shining down on us and a gentle breeze swirling around.
Spring Engagement Session
Sierra & Ryan radiated love, happiness, kindness and their sweet personalities made the session all the more enjoyable. They held hands tightly and laughed as they walked along the river, we couldn’t help but smile at the pure joy that surrounded us.
Coon Bluff is one of our favorite engagement session locations in Phoenix and was an ideal setting for their session. The gentle, steady flow of the river added an element of calmness where the greenery around us made for a stunning back-drop.
From an artistic perspective, the lighting couldn’t have been better. Half way thru the session the sun had begun to set, casting a warm glow on the couple’s faces and creating a romantic feeling. The light danced in their eyes, highlighting the love and affection they had for one another. This type of light is truly a photographer’s dream.
As we moved on to different locations, we made sure to capture every detail, from the lovely spring colors the couple chose to the slight nuances in the way they smiled at one another. Their natural chemistry was obvious and it flowed seamlessly from image to image.
Looking back, we are grateful to have been able to capture something so special. Witnessing young love in its purest form, amidst the beauty of nature, made it all the more surreal. We are confident that the photos captured during this spring engagement session at Coon Bluff will be cherished memories for years to come. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have been part of the experience and are so excited to photograph their Phoenix wedding coming up this fall.
